Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Told You!! (“we”, “us”) collects through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Right now the site is a pre-launch waitlist, so we collect very little.
What we collect
- Your email address, if you join the waitlist.
- Basic technical data sent with every web request: your browser’s user-agent string and a one-way, keyed hash of your IP address. We never store your raw IP address. The hash is used only to stop spam and abuse (rate limiting).
- Hosting logs kept by our infrastructure providers for security and reliability, under their own policies.
- Optional visitor statistics: if you press Allow, we save a random first-party browser ID and its one-way keyed hash on our server to count unique devices and one returning visit per day. We do not count or store a visitor ID when you decline. You can clear your browser site data to reset this choice.
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels, and we do not ask for your name, phone number, wallet or payment details on this page.
How we use it
- To tell you when Told You!! launches and send occasional product updates about it.
- To protect the site from spam, bots and abuse.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not share it with anyone except the service providers below, who process it on our behalf.
Service providers
- Vercel — website hosting.
- Supabase — the database where waitlist emails are stored (United States).
- Resend — sends the waitlist confirmation email and launch announcements.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — checks that waitlist signups come from people, not bots.
- Telegram — receives aggregate visitor and waitlist count alerts in our private admin topic. These alerts contain no email addresses, visitor IDs or IP addresses.
Your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where these providers operate.
How long we keep it
We keep your email until you ask us to delete it, unsubscribe, or we shut down the waitlist. Abuse-prevention data (IP hashes, rate-limit counters) is kept only as long as needed for that purpose.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your data, or to stop emailing you. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe option. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may have additional rights under local law, including the right to complain to a data protection authority. Write to toldyouonrobin@proton.me and we’ll handle it promptly.
Security
Waitlist data is stored in a database that is not readable from the public internet: only our server can access it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Children
Told You!! is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
When the full product launches, this policy will be updated to cover it. We’ll change the date at the top when we update this page, and tell waitlist members by email about significant changes.
